Do I look like my Daddy or my Mommy?

The office is a bit messy but it was completely re-done also. New carpet, wallpaper, paint, and shelves on 2/3 of the wall on the right. I need new curtains yet but can't find any that I LOVE!
So, we were going to build a pergola over our deck and put new sides up. Well, after pricing what we REALLY want, we decided to wait on that little project. So I found this canopy tent at Menards for $130! What a steal. It keeps the sun off us very nicely. The back of the house faces the south....HOT, HOT, HOT! At night we can close it and keep the bugger-roos out
The dock...Gary wants to add another step here too. It's very relaxing to sit and listen to the water fountain...ahhhhhhhhhhhh country life...LOVE IT!Our old dock basically feel apart. Gary jumped off of it last year and a corner dropped a foot or so. With the help of friends, Gary completed it in ONE day! It's not a complicated dock but very basic. The bench is nice to have. You don't necessarily have to carry chairs out there now. Hummm...how should I decorate it? I'm sure the fish want something really snappy to look at. Thanks Jimmy, Larry, Rick, & Ron for all your help. We hope you got enough beer and chicken to make it worth it!
The arbor is located on the south side of our pond. It's cool to look at from our deck. Hummm, might need some lights on there too. That would look sharp...oh, so many things to do, so little time...ohhh, and money. hehe
The final product. I love it! I need to stain it yet. I think I will put a little settee or hang a swing at some point.
I'm so glad I have a big, strong husband that likes to keep me happy. Look how hard he is working at digging these holes for the arbor! I can't imagine using a plain ol' post hole digger. eeek!! My sister and I took a wine making class a few weeks back so I got this brillant idea that I better get some grapevines planted so I can make some wine in a couple years. Gary jumped right on this and got it done in record time! I love ya' baby!
One of the highlights of the night was Josh doin' the "Billy Jean." It was HILARIOUS! I wish I had it on video! He popped back up from this position a few times! OUCH! If it hadn't been before his death I would have said this was Josh's tribute to Michael. Believe me he MUST do this again!
