Hey Blue Eyes!

Do I look like my Daddy or my Mommy?

He's getting big! And STILL the blue eyes...

Maxton's still not reall sure about Marcus.

"Come on, get up!"

"Hi buddy. Wanna play?"
This past Thursday Grandma Linda watched BOTH boys from 8-3:30. Whew! What a busy day. I enjoyed it. I don't think I will be doing that every Thursday though.

And he's walking...yeah!!

And now he can help Daddy mow the lawn.

Yes, he was moving SO fast the photo is blurry. hehe

Last week Maxton was still practicing his walk but it looks like he may have it mastered. Way to go buddy! Here he's chasing after Macy. I'm sure that she is really happy that he will be able to move faster to get her...hehe

Our place...

The office is a bit messy but it was completely re-done also. New carpet, wallpaper, paint, and shelves on 2/3 of the wall on the right. I need new curtains yet but can't find any that I LOVE!

The dining room is right next to the kitchen.

Our "almost" completely remodeled kitchen. We have done everything from paint, tile countertop, laminate floor, and add new appliances. The cupboards haven't changed. Don't look too closely!

So, we were going to build a pergola over our deck and put new sides up. Well, after pricing what we REALLY want, we decided to wait on that little project. So I found this canopy tent at Menards for $130! What a steal. It keeps the sun off us very nicely. The back of the house faces the south....HOT, HOT, HOT! At night we can close it and keep the bugger-roos out

I LOVE these flowers. What are they called? I can't remember. lol

This is the front of our house. Full view pic at the bottom of this page. This pom-pom tree we just put in last year and it has grown a lot!

And WHAT are these holes around our pond from?

Does anyone know what makes these holes? We always had them. Someone said crabs. Someone said moles. But they are not in the rest of the yard. Just around the pond...hummmmmmmm...

A new dock too! My husband ROCKS!!

The dock...Gary wants to add another step here too. It's very relaxing to sit and listen to the water fountain...ahhhhhhhhhhhh country life...LOVE IT!

Our old dock basically feel apart. Gary jumped off of it last year and a corner dropped a foot or so. With the help of friends, Gary completed it in ONE day! It's not a complicated dock but very basic. The bench is nice to have. You don't necessarily have to carry chairs out there now. Hummm...how should I decorate it? I'm sure the fish want something really snappy to look at. Thanks Jimmy, Larry, Rick, & Ron for all your help. We hope you got enough beer and chicken to make it worth it!

My new grape arbor...thanks honey! Wine anyone?

The arbor is located on the south side of our pond. It's cool to look at from our deck. Hummm, might need some lights on there too. That would look sharp...oh, so many things to do, so little time...ohhh, and money. hehe

The final product. I love it! I need to stain it yet. I think I will put a little settee or hang a swing at some point.

I'm so glad I have a big, strong husband that likes to keep me happy. Look how hard he is working at digging these holes for the arbor! I can't imagine using a plain ol' post hole digger. eeek!! My sister and I took a wine making class a few weeks back so I got this brillant idea that I better get some grapevines planted so I can make some wine in a couple years. Gary jumped right on this and got it done in record time! I love ya' baby!

Maxton- 1 Year Old!

Yummy, his first cake!!! I think he likes it!

He looks like he's ready to run here...but we are still a little wobbly walking...soon though!

Mr. Maturity!

He's up to something here...

Someone's 1st birthday is coming soon...July 23rd! Wow, that year has gone fast.
Maxton- your outgoing, energetic little personality keeps us all laughing...WE LOVE YOU!!!

My Birthday with my Favorite Men at the Columbus Zoo

Maxton liked petting the goats.

This little monkey was tired...nap time please...
Ahhhhh, a baby elephant. He was sooo cute!

Two little monkeys? hehee

Show us the aquarium Gramps! Nice fish!

Grandma & Grandpa's first day out with both the boys...Whew...It was 90 degrees that day! We were there for about four hours...that was plenty. That Zoo is huge! The boys were so good that day. Love ya babies!

Nick & Felicia's Wedding- June 13th, 2009

One of the highlights of the night was Josh doin' the "Billy Jean." It was HILARIOUS! I wish I had it on video! He popped back up from this position a few times! OUCH! If it hadn't been before his death I would have said this was Josh's tribute to Michael. Believe me he MUST do this again!

The Vaughan gang:

Matt, Maxton, Laci, Linda, Felicia, Nick, Gary, Katie, Josh and Marcus.

Someone almost missed getting Marcus in the pic. He's so small I guess they didn't see him. hehe

The wedding party:
Alexis, Katie, Angela, Shannon, Becky, Adam, Matt, Gary, Josh, Allan

Felicia, Nick, Abby, Austin, Aaron

The groom & groomsmen hanging out by the car of course. The car was Grandpa Don's.

The Minister with the newlyweds. The wedding was at Scioto Methodist Church. It was small but just perfect!

We don't have the "official" photographs back yet but I wanted to get some on here. Some are a bit blurry.

Nick & Felicia's Couple's Wedding Shower

Some words of wisdom from Gramps?

Let's get some cake honey.

Going to the chapel? or the pond?

And opening presents...

More games...

What was your answer honey? I don't remember THAT! hehe

Felicia's Mom, Bonnie, was the emcee for the Newlywed Game. That was a lot of fun! Amazingly Nick & Felicia were tied for first place and were able to win the tie-breaker with Bill & Becky to win the whole sha-bang. I guess they are ready to be married!

Bill & Becky and Gary & I hosted the couple's shower at our house. It was a lot of fun! And it was a beautiful day as well. Here's to a BEAUTIFUL life together kids!!!

Mackenzie Nicole Matula- Happy Graduation! We are so proud of you!

Oh, almost forgot that "all-important-boyfriend" He'll be doing this next year.
Wow, does that mean you're dating a "college girl" Trav?

Wow! A laptop for graduation. I think you may need that at college.
Hey Drana- why's EVERYBODY have ahh-qua on? hehehe

Hummmm...look out Ashland University...here I come! Attending my Aunt Linda's alma mater! Go Eagles!

Proud Mom & Dad.

Someone's happy! Good job Kenzer! And with honors...I'm sooo Proud!

Marcus & Mommy having fun!

Heheheeeeee...we had fun! I think a nap is in order Mommy...

Let's go for a walk Mommy! I've got my sunscreen and Columbus Zoo hat on.

I see you baby!

Katie & Marcus playing on his playmat. What big blue eyes you have cutie-pie!
